The Kimberling Area Library Association is a non-profit organization supported entirely by donations and contributions, and receives no direct tax support.

KAL is staffed entirely by volunteers who give freely of their time for the benefit of the community.

KAL is managed by a nine member board of directors who are elected from the membership at large to three year terms with fiscal year starting July 1st.

KAL provides a modern, clean, attractive facility and services tailored to the population and character of the area.
